Elliott Earls’ General Incompetence

Eleven months later, two days before I was to be married, I was fired. And, although I list the reason I was fired as “general incompetence,” I believe what was actually said to me was “I’m sorry, we can’t help you anymore.” This was a very painful experience for me.
