Using what we have learned from our individual projects, come up with 5 proposals on projects based on a single conclusion (e.g.immunity, we can never be totally free, best things in life are still free, etc). Next week we will discuss about our proposals, and we will then select one project to execute together.
-we can never be free of everything: freedom of one thing is a form of restriction. It limits you to everything but the thing itself.
-dont use too many variables.
-when you want to be free of something, you have to think about what you are restricted from.
-instead of showing a concept, the concept can be exercised or experienced.
-accidents can be good.

i thought of how art is compared to food, and the constant debate between formal and conceptual art. Perhaps formal art, art that is visually pleasing, could be related to tasty food. Conceptual art, art that is intellectually stimulating and informative, would be the equivalent of healthy food. So chefs or nutrionists might argue over creating tasty dishes as opposed to food that is good for our health. But is health necessarily more important than taste? Nutrionists might argue that the point of food is always about improving one’s health and that taste is not important. Chefs would probably disagree because the pleasure of taste is vital in their cooking. Probably in a food critique, it would go something like this:
Nutrionist: why did you put the onions?
Chef: coz it makes the dish taste better man.
Nutrionist: but it doesn’t add to the nutritional value!
Chef: taste is value!
What do you think? is taste or nutrition more important in food? Should one be compromised over the other?
Could they go hand in hand, like fruits? But then some people might argue that taste is subjective, and that nutrition is harder to debate about. But is it really? And does the subjectivity of something bring down the validity of it?
